Postcard #2.7 The Master, Captain Dimitrios Kafetzis

From what we have heard from Captain Dimitrios Kafetzis so far, it would appear that he has a bit of a sense of humour. For instance yesterday at the end of the muster drill he gave a little speech that went along these lines,

In the event of a real emergency, I the Captain will be the only person who can give the order to abandon ship. In the event I am disabled then the First Officer will give the order. If the First Officer is disabled then the Safety Officer will give the order. If he is disabled, then all I can safely say is that you are having a better day than us!

I am often asked what is the difference between normal miles and nautical miles....well what else would you call them when we are at sea!!
