Celebrity Reflection Postcard #5 A Sea Day

Well I missed the sunset and because we were at dinner we also missed the sail away from Santorini. Before dinner we went for a drink at the Passport Bar on deck 3 which has always been a favourite as there is always some live entertainment going on in the Grand Foyer. Last night it was the house bands turn to keep us amused until it was time to dine.

This morning we woke to cloudy skies and a strong breeze. Although there was cloud cover it was still bright and the sun was still able to cast a shadow. After breakfast we made our way up to the Solstice deck where it was pretty much deserted which was an added bonus because we could take our pick of the sun beds. Soon after midday the cloud disappeared and the sun soon burnt off the haze and we had brilliant sunshine for the rest of the afternoon.

Much of the day has been very breezy and we have spend all but an hour up on deck while the ship has passed through the Dardanelles Straits and past Gallipoli on our way to Istanbul which is where we should wake up tomorrow morning.
