Day 8 - Farewell Norwegian Epic

Day 8 - Barcelona & Disembarking
Just woke to find we are already in Barcelona and the sky is grey and it is raining
There were several options available to us for getting off. Being as we made our own transfers we could select a time slot to have our luggage taken off by the ship or a new option for us which is carrying it off yourself. We have chosen the later which means we can stay on board until 9.00 a.m which is the last slot. This just gives us time to go to the Taste Restaurant for our last breakfast on the ship. Day 7 - Palma
As you will be able to see from this picture, the weather isn't too good today. Lots of thunder and lightening but not currently over the ship although it does look to be heading in this direction.

Today we have been joined by Independence of the Seas.

Day 7 - Palma, Mallorca
The last port of call on our 7 day cruise and today we have arrived as the sun is starting to rise over Palma. Plan A is to head for a beach but much depends on how much hassle it will be to get there. We are right next to Thomson Dream which must be a site to see from a good vantage point.

Day 6 - Sea Day Sales
Its a sea day, true to form the cruise line is holding its once in a lifetime sale. Today it's watches. Normally $80 but for today only......... $27.50! You would not believe the scrum going on to grab these watches. Can people really be that gullible? Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Today is a sea day and I wasn't expecting to pick up any signal on my phone but as we are passing between Corsica and Sardinia I just happened to notice we have coverage. Here is our view of Sardinia as we pass.

Day 5 - Naples Cruise Terminal

Day 5 - Returning to Naples
The ferry from Sorrento back to Naples takes just over 30 minutes and costs €11. It is a fantastic way to see the coast line. Absolutely stunning views! A great way to finish off the days proceedings.
